Annual Motorcycle Fundraiser
Annual Carter’s Ride.
Every mile we ride honors the lives lost to suicide and supports families navigating the unimaginable loss of a child. Carter’s Ride is more than a fundraiser—it’s a movement of compassion, connection, and healing.
Your support helps us provide immediate, in-person grief care, create safe spaces at funerals, connect families to long-term suicide bereavement resources and gives individuals struggling with suicidal thoughts, ideations, ruminations or just struggling with life. Together, we break the silence, reduce stigma, and remind grieving families they are never alone.

SBPD FOP Family Wellness Fair
Carter’s Ride is excited to be a part of the SBPD FOP’S first ever Family Wellness Fair. FOP Lodge #36, South Bend, is a not-for-profit fraternal organization consisting of 300+ local sworn police officers, 170 retired officers and 200+ “associate members.” They are a member driven organization that focuses on developing and maintaining a great relationship with the community we serve daily.
The Wellness Fair will be open to all sworn officers, civilian employees of the Police Department, retirees and their families. It is their hope to educate and inform sworn officers, civilian employees, retirees and their families of the numerous programs and benefits they have available to them.
